At Nowyak high gold, silver and copper assays have been identified at 4 locations along a 6 kilometre structure. Mineralization is associated with thick zones of shearing quartz carbonate, sericite alteration.
2011 Exploration Program
The 2011 exploration program on the Nowyak property has focused the company into a zone of high grade gold and silver mineralization with grab samples assaying up to 72.1 g/t Au, 1040 g/t Ag and 5.8% copper.
An induced polarization (IP) geophysical survey has outlined numerous contiguous anomalies within a 1.8 kilometre by 1.0 kilometre area along a shear zone. Follow-up prospecting of this area resulted in the discovery of numerous new mineralized zones between the historic Gareth and Century showings (see map). Gold, silver and copper mineralization in this area is related to a nearby granodiorite intrusion. The zone remains open to the north, south and west.
Another high priority IP anomaly 750 metres to the south along the shear zone was also recognized. This IP anomaly extends at least 550 metres to the south in an overburden covered valley and is open to the north and south. Data from a ground magnetic survey suggests the presence of a similar granodiorite intrusion as observed at the Garath -- Century showing.
A total of 88 grab samples collected from the area are directly associated with the IP anomalies. Twenty four of the samples have returned high metal content with greater than 1 g/t Au. The table below highlights the most significant 2011 samples.

Nowyak is considered a greenstone hosted lode-gold prospect. Several drill targets have been delineated within this zone. Plans for the 2012 season are underway. Drilling could begin in spring/summer 2012.
Nowyak South East Zone
In April 2011 Uranium North purchased new data for the Nowyak property. The Company identified several new high grade gold and silver zones. Grab samples with up to 50.3 g/T gold and 44.8 g/T silver highlight these new zones which are unrelated to the known mineralized shear zone in the central part of the property which is scheduled for summer drilling.
In 2004, a total of 43 grab samples were collected from six areas within a 3 x 1.5 kilometre area 4 to 7 kilometres east of the main Nowyak shear zone. Ten samples yielded more than 1 g/T gold with the highest being 50.3 g/T gold from a quartz vein. Of the 43 samples assayed, 29 reported anomalous gold values greater than 100 ppb. These assay results have never been followed up.
The highest grade gold and silver assays from quartz veins (50.3 g/T gold and 44.8 g/T silver) along the margin of a small lake form a high interest zone called the 3900 area. The reporting document for this data speculated that this lake which parallels the main mineralized Nowyak structure may be a large recessive mineralized structure worthy of testing.
