	Vancouver, BC, July 12, 2011 - Uranium North Resource Corp. ("Uranium North" or the "Company") (TSX-V: UNR) announces the grant of 3,450,000 incentive stock options under the Company's stock option plan to directors, officers, employees and consultants. The options are exercisable for a period of five years at a price of $0.15 per share and are subject to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. About Uranium North Uranium North Resources is focused on gold, silver and uranium in Nunavut. All properties are 100% owned including the Amer Lake uranium deposit, one of the largest uranium resources in Nunavut. The Company will be drilling the Mallery gold/silver project, the Nowyak gold deposit and carrying out a low cost expansion program on the Amer Lake uranium deposit in 2011.
